For Primary, only Nursery (if applicable), Reception, Year 1 and Year 6
(if applicable) should return to their academy from 1st June.

For Secondary, only Year 10 and Year 12 students (if applicable) should return to their academy from 15th June.

If your work is critical to the COVID-19 response you should still send your child to school.

This page will be updated by the Harris Federation with information on the status of our schools in relation to the coronavirus outbreak.

Harris Federation Primary Academies

The following academies will be joining together to form local hubs:

Primary Hub 1 - Based at Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park.
Harris Primary Free School Peckham
Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park

 

All other primary academies will individually be open to Nursery (if applicable), Reception,
Year 1 and Year 6 (if applicable)
pupils from 1st June, unless parents have been informed otherwise. The primary academies will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified their individual Academy in advance that they need this service.


Harris Federation Secondary Academies

Harris Aspire Academy: Open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service until Friday 17th July. The Academy will be open week beginning 13th July until 31st July for Year 10 students.

Harris Academy Battersea: Week commencing 13th July, we will have 60 Year 10’s in the morning 10am to 12pm and 45 Year 10’s in the afternoon 1pm-3:15pm. They will study Maths, English, Science, MFL and Humanities. The rest of the subjects they will access online through Microsoft Teams. We will also be having a number of Year 12 students on site to support their remote learning curriculum. The Academy will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable children whose parents have arranged with the Academy in advance that they may attend.

Harris Academy Beckenham: The Academy has now commenced its phased reopening for Year 10 and 12 students who are now attending on allocated days with no more than a quarter of any of these year groups on site at any one time. The Academy will continue to offer a provision to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who the Academy has invited to attend. In addition, all Year 7 to 9 students are being invited in for an individual meeting with their tutor or member of the pastoral team to discuss their end of year report and prepare for next year.

Harris Academy Bermondsey: The Academy will be open to the children of key workers and vulnerable children whose parents have arranged with the Academy in advance that they may attend. From 15th June, the Academy will also be open to Year 10 and Year 12 students who should attend only on their timetabled days. All students in other year groups will continue to work remotely.

Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley: For the week commencing 13th July, students of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who have notified the Academy in advance and Years 10 and 12 will continue to attend the academy on an invitation basis; only Year 12 will attend on Friday 17th July till 12.pm. The school will be closed to all students for the summer from Friday 17th July at 12.00pm.

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace: The Academy will be open to the children of key workers and vulnerable children whose parents have arranged with the Academy in advance that they may attend. From 15th June, the Academy will also be open to Year 10 and Year 12 students who should attend only on their timetabled days. All students in other year groups will continue to work remotely.

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon: 13th – 17 July - last week of term the Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service. The Academy will be open for Years 10 and 12 on a rota system. Harris Invictus Academy will not be open to students including the children of key workers over the summer holidays. This is due to preparations to ensure our building is ready for full opening in September 2020.

Harris Boys’ Academy, East Dulwich: The Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who the Academy has invited to attend. In addition, every Year 10 and 12 student has been invited to attend the academy each week for face to face learning including specialist lessons in English, Maths and Science

Harris Academy Chafford Hundred: All students in Years 10 and 12 will continue to be in school on their designated days and should attend their online lessons on all other days. The Academy will remain open to the children of critical workers and vulnerable students throughout this time who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Academy Falconwood: The Academy will be closing for all students from Monday 20th July 2020 for the summer holidays. The Academy will fully reopen in September for all students in the following format:
Year 7, Year 11 and Year 12 – Friday 4th September 2020.
All other year groups – Monday 7th September 2020.
Details of the return process and procedures will be sent to all parent/carers in due course.

Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich: The Academy keyworker and vulnerable student provision remains open and pupils in Year 10 and 12 should attend for their scheduled face to face contact sessions only. 

Harris Academy Greenwich: The Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students, EHCP students, those who are open to social care and those who are significantly disadvantaged by a lack of face to face schooling until Wednesday 15th July. There will be two extraordinary INSET days on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th July so that the academy can prepare for September.

Harris Academy Ockendon: From Monday 15th June the Academy will be working with students from Years 10 and 12 who most need additional support. Only students who have been contacted directly are expected to be in the academy on their designated days. The Academy will remain open to the children of critical workers and vulnerable students throughout this time who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Academy Riverside: The Academy is open for the children of key workers, vulnerable students including those with an EHCP, those who are open to social care and those who are significantly disadvantaged by a lack of face to face schooling who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.. From 15th June, the academy will be open for Year 12 students on a rotational basis.

Harris Academy Merton: The Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who have notified their Academy in advance that they need this service. The Academy will also be open to Year 12, who will be preparing their UCAS application and Year 10.

Harris Academy Morden: From 15th June, the academy will be open for Year 10 students in accordance with the published rota, alongside critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Academy Orpington: The Academy remains open week commencing 13th July 2020 to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students and EHCP students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service. Students from Year 12 will continue to attend the Academy Friday. Year 10 will continue to be on site on Wednesday and Friday, on an invitation basis.  

Harris Academy Peckham: The Academy is open for the children of critical workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service. In addition, 25% of Year 10 will be attending each day for lessons from 22nd June following a bespoke schedule. Next week, lessons will be Maths.

Harris Academy South Norwood: Open all week except Friday 17th July when the Academy closes at 1pm to children of key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service and Year 10 and 12 students on their allocated days.

Harris Academy St John’s Wood: From Monday 22nd June, Harris Academy St John’s Wood is open to Year 10 students on Monday to Thursday.  Students are only expected to attend on ONE day.  Parents have received a letter and/or phone call to confirm arrangements.  It is essential that students only attend at the time stated on the letter. If you have any queries, please contact the Academy office.

Year 12 students are attending the Academy on Friday for seminars.  A full timetable will be issued to each student.  Students only attend when the timetable stipulates.  A further small group of Year 12 students will attend the Academy on Thursday.

The Academy is closed to all other year groups, except those who are vulnerable or the children of keyworkers who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Academy Sutton: The Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers, vulnerable students, EHCP students, those who are open to social care and those who are significantly disadvantaged by a lack of face to face schooling who have been invited by the Academy to attend.

Harris Academy Wimbledon: The Academy will be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service. Year 7 and 8 should attend their review meetings with their tutor at the specified time.

Harris Federation All Through Academies

Chobham Academy: 

Primary Phase: Open to children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 5 and Year 6. All bubbles are now full, so please contact the academy directly if you would like your child to return to the academy. The Academy will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the academy in advance that they need this service.

Secondary Phase: Open to groups of Year 10 and Year 12 students. The Academy will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Garrard Academy: 

Primary Phase: Open to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.  The Academy will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the academy in advance that they need this service.

Secondary Phase: Open to selected Year 10 and Year 12 students as per government guidelines. Students have been informed on which day they should attend. The Academy will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Academy Tottenham:

Primary Phase: Open to Reception and Year 1 pupils to attend on their designated days​. 

Secondary Phase: Open to Year 10 and Year 12 pupils on an invitation only basis. Families have been notified of the timetable and pod for their child. 

It will also be open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service.

Harris Federation Sixth Form

Harris Professional Skills Sixth Form: Open to the children of critical key workers and vulnerable students who have notified the Academy in advance that they need this service until Friday 17th July. The Academy will be open week beginning 13th July until 31st July for Year 13 construction students.

Harris Westminster Sixth Form: 

The Academy is now closed to students; the last day of term was Friday 10th July.
